Douglas McCabe

Douglas spent four decades building companies — construction, finance, national real estate services, asset management — the kind of work that rewards discipline and punishes wishful thinking. He is a graduate of Oregon State University’s School of Civil Engineering.
He is spending this decade on schools instead. The through-line is the same one that ran through every company he built: strong organizations come from people who can think, and thinking is a thing you can teach.
He calls this chapter “Douglas 2.0”. The ambition is a national movement in education, with youth entrepreneurship at its center.
